"Cura2"
Dog's Rescue Association
Curados is an association that aims to help street dogs in the Dominican Republic.
But how to raise funds?
Now comes the full story of the creation of that beautiful project

The story
Lover of photography, dogs and the beach...
How could I unite these 3 to be useful to the cause of abandoned dogs?
It all started when I spent hours on the beach, photographing surfers in the sea of Punta Cana enjoying the waves.
And I realized that the problem of abandoned dogs was even bigger, since they were found on the beach in very bad condition.
As the demand for surf photos grew among our surfer friends, my husband and I decided that the value of the photographs would go to the cause of helping those dogs that needed it most.
At that moment, "CURA2" was born, an expression that means "feeling good and healthy after surfing some good waves."
Cured also, in the sense that "we" are going to "cure" those dogs that, believe me, really need us.
These funds are intended for sterilization, deworming and some veterinary treatments since they are very expensive here in the Dominican Republic.
We had luckier dogs, who thanks to photos and posts on social media, managed to find adoptive homes.
We started with the dogs from Macao beach and the town but the need is still great and we need to continue helping .
That is why we joined Cura2 and Punta Cana Foto Rd to raise more funds and continue on this beautiful path.
